Locations

We can work in a location that is meaningful to you, or choose one of the sites I'm already familiar with. Each one is different and offers unique advantages and challenges. Here are some examples:

Walled garden paths and Garry Oak groves at Government House, Victoria

Government House

A wonderful walled garden that includes both manicured gardens and natural Garry Oak groves. A variety of flat and terraced landscapes. It also has easy parking within the gardens and street parking nearby and washrooms.

Tall forest of a ravine at Mystic Vale, University of Victoria

Mystic Vale at the University of Victoria

If we are lucky we might hear some owls hooting above us. The Mystic Vale is a forested ravine, with a creek running down, sometimes dry and sometimes with water flowing through it. Please note that the path is dirt, more rugged and often bumpy and full of roots. Street parking is available off Hobbs St. This location does not have washrooms.

Camas meadow and a path with mountain views at Mt. Tolmie, Victoria

Mt. Tolmie

Meet at the top or make the climb part of the process. Mt. Tolmie offers views of Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountains and can put us in touch with our embodied sense of our expansiveness. Gravel path as well as rocky and uneven, hilly terrain in this natural Garry Oak meadow. Portable washroom available.
